Our church had its first service on September 12, 1954.  God had set into motion a series of events that caused a local woman, Nellie Clevenger, to start a church in Camden.  Originally established as the "Camden Community Church" in 1954 the congregation has grown and extended its community outreach.  In 1990 we became the "Camden Missionary Church"; a part of the North Central Region of the Missionary Church.
